Property Management 101: Do not use chicken wire to collect rent checks
Last week during a site inspection of a new apartment building, we found this awesome (or not!) rent collection box that the previous management company had installed. While I have to give the apartment managers a few points for creativity here, it’s an overall #FAIL as the “collection box” is located in an unlocked closet of the very public laundry room.
